Anthroposophy ( anthropo – human, & Sophia – wisdom) was the name Rudolf Steiner chose for his study of the human experience. He began his writing and lecturing in the early 1900’s.
Basic to Anthroposhopsical thought is that we are spiritual beings comprised of four bodies: physical, etheric, astral and soul. Simply put, illness derives from a disharmony or imbalance of the flow between these bodies. In other words, the way the spiritual aspects of our beings infuse the physical body affects our physical and emotional health.
Anthroposophy strives to understand that connection and give us the awareness to strengthen the areas that are weak or imbalanced.
Herbs, homeopathic combinations, minerals and foods are utilized according to their energetic, spiritual properties to help restore our connection to our spiritual selves.
